It's currently not hooked up to locales yet, but it can be enabled in Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time: |

I do have it set to 24 hour format in the settings, panel applet still doesn't follow it |

How do you make the time show up in the 24 hour format? Tried changing locales in settings which didn't change it at all.
