I've always been a big fan of Pike - but the community is pretty limited. I believe the IRC channel that was on freenode is now defunct as well. Also there's practically no debate; the reach of Discord now far exceeds IRC.
I went ahead and created a discord group if anyone wants to talk Pike. Definitely feel free to join.
