firmware build error

I tried to build the firmware on Github's Codespaces and got an error.

ceccommon.h:27:10: fatal error: driver\bk4819.h: No such file or directory

Could you please help me with a solution?

My goal is to build a version with some menu items removed, such as F_Lock.

Thanks a lot. I understand now.
I was able to build it after correcting the relevant parts (there were 10).
However, the firmware that was created was version 0.1C.
I wanted to customize 0.41HF.
This does not seem to build on Github.
It seems that I have to prepare a build environment on my own PC.
Also, the source code for the latest 0.41HF seems to be unreleased, so I have to wait for it to be released.

Even if the firmware is compiled, it is not from the latest sources. So first of all I removed key.LCK from the Menu you want. My plan is to release the source code when version 1.0 is reached. However, since the HF version has implemented most of the features, it seems that version 1.0 can be made a little earlier. Ian KD8CEC

Please consider releasing the sources earlier, or pushing them to a testing branch for people to hack on! It's weird to use a firmware and not be able to modify it (especially considering the base is a FOSS project). Even if it's not perfect, playing around and modifying these little radios, implementing new features and generally screwing about is good fun and what lots of us enjoy.

Also, please consider releasing the source as soon as possible.
I would like to modify your firmware to limit the maximum RF output power to 1W.
This is because Japanese law limits spurious emissions of radios that can output more than 1W to -60dBc or less, which cannot be cleared without adding an LPF or modifying the LPF circuit of the UV-K5.
On the other hand, the spurious emissions of radios with an output of 1W or less are limited to 50uW, and the UV-K5 appears to be able to clear this regulation without hardware modification.

I just wanted to add to the chorus of people asking for the source code for your mods. I really appreciate the CW implementation, it has been excellent for practice. Can you give us any indication of a timeline in which you plan to release the source code?
