Controls not working

Hello,

While running log_viewer example on Windows 11 I noticed control keys are not working and when using them the equivalent ascii code is getting printed to screen in addition to some other control characters that appear automatically "opened in previous issue".

the same noticed in stream_widget and you can see even q printed when I am trying to quit , space is not working to stream

Are you running it inside iex by any chance?
Also what version of OTP are you using?

Currently you need to have a terminal that allows for raw mode which was not available until OTP 28.
Unfortunately the iEx replay does not support raw mode at the moment either.

I am working on a separate TTY backend that should work without raw mode.

Let me know how you were running the examples and that will let me help you better

I just verified this behaviour on Windows 10 command prompt and effectively the keys are not recognized. It is possible that the key codes are different on windows. I will look into this.

Thanks for creating this framework as many people still need terminal based utilities :)
another note is why the terminal does not take the full width of the screen , I am trying the examples now on linux SSH and it work but this is a note as it some scenarios like streaming logs or logs you might need bigger display "Notice the big empty space on the right"

These are just examples and you should have total control of the width, colors, etc of everything really. Maybe I need to add some more user guides.
