Is there any documentation/ example to clarify how Parca Server must be configured to receive profiles from applications exposing pprof profiling endpoints via HTTP?

There isn't a huge amount of documentation (contributions would be welcome!), but there is this: https://www.parca.dev/docs/ingestion

And in general other than the profiling_config the configuration is identical to the Prometheus config file: https://prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/configuration/configuration

Can you please provide me with a simple example? Which configuration must I do to receive the profiles from applications via HTTP?

You can find an example of a Go application here: https://github.com/polarsignals/pprof-example-app-go

This example does not show any configuration of the Parca server, it only shows the configuration of the application code.
