Owntracks Location History past 30 days and specific search

Hi there, I installed Owntracks over weekend and everything is running just fine.
However, is there a way to improve the frontend?
I would like to track my locations past 30 days and search my location / tracks for a specific date.

Is there a way to easily implement this?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for this. I looked into this, but I am not successful. When I pull up the interface, I just get an empty map with no reporting points.
The original map/track and reporting works just fine.

Could you please help me? I am new to Linux.

I installed Owntracks from the Github site and it works fine with the basic frontend interface.
However, the frontend is very limited and I like to use the nicer updated version -> https://github.com/owntracks/frontend

So I downloaded the [owntracks/frontend] (https://hub.docker.com/r/owntracks/frontend)

I also tried docker compose with:

The result is the same.

When I open the browser and open the server ip:86 the map and title bar of the new frontend pulls up but the map has no track nor can I select a user in the top title bar.

It seems to me that the services is running but it cannot display the pulled data.

Can you please help? I spent already hours on this researching and trying. I know from research that many people have the same issue.

did you configure config.js to point to your Recorder installation, and in particular, is the URL thereis actually accessible from your Web browser?

Could you please specify what you mean by that?

I am not able to go back more than 30 in history.

Any other advise that one word? What can I make out of that. It either is not possible or it is. If so, what are the steps to enable this?

If you are using Frontend you are also using Recorder which records the data. Unless you are removing files, the Recorder will provide Frontend with the locations you request. Selecting a different timeframe in Frontend should show you older tracks if the Recorder has them.
