When I try to play the mod, the game goes immediately into an infinite loop where I die instantaneously upon waking, get an "empty" Nomai mask memory rewind, and then it repeats. I tried your "reload configs" suggestion, but it didn't help.

Dunno if you're still around, but try removing all your mods and loading in just this one (plus any other ones it requires in order to run) to see if the issue persists.
