Speed Limit Icon in Right Panel

Would it be possible to change the speed limit icon on the right panel. The current versions of the icons for speed limit and GPS speed look very similar and I often get confused when just glancing at the screen while driving.

I live in the US. The icon used in the lower left corner when going over the speed limit is great and better than Google's.

Please note that you can use alert widget when you exceed speed limit.
