macos CLI - npm or brew?

Hi all, im having issuing with using supabase CLI on MACOS.

What's the diff btw supabase CLI installed from NPM vs brew?

if i use brew's version, doing supabase start will not work cuz of some docker image not being able to spun up, or even if it did, the supabase studio UI times out in its pages

if i use npm's version, there's no supabase studio.

Which one should i use?
