supabase not working on chrome browser

The website is down for me on chrome. It is working on safari. I've only used this site on chrome. I'm having the same problem with ElevenLabs. Yes I've already cleared my cache and cookies, twice.

If you mean you can't use the dashboard then there is a random dashboard state bug that impacts any browser. It usually goes away after a day or so. In the meantime other browsers work. Sometimes a VPN also avoids it.

You don't say what down means though.

What I mean to say is that nothing is loading on the site, a small window pops up saying "Your session has timed out" after roughly 10 seconds. I'm having this issue with ElevenLabs too.

That is the typical state issue error message for Supabase's bug. It should resolve "later" on that same browser. Don't know why ElevenLabs would be involved.

You can certainly file an issue with Supabase's support. They ask for a HAR file (which might be part of the message in the pop up.

This is a known intermittent Supabase dashboard bug (affects random users/browsers at random times). It’s been happening on and off for months and shows exactly that “Your session has timed out” popup after ~10 seconds, even on fresh logins. It’s not your Chrome install — it’s server-side state corruption tied to your session in their edge cache.

What usually works (fastest fixes first):

1. Try an incognito/private window in Chrome → works for most people immediately.
2. Use a VPN (even a free one) or switch IP (mobile hotspot) → instantly bypasses it.
3. Wait 4-24 hours → it almost always self-resolves on the affected browser.
4. Switch to Firefox or Safari temporarily (you already saw Safari works).

ElevenLabs having the exact same symptom at the same time is pure coincidence — they’re unrelated services.

No need to clear cache/cookies again; it won’t help this particular issue. If you want Supabase to investigate faster, click the “Send feedback” button in that timeout popup — it auto-attaches a HAR file they need.

Annoying, but harmless and temporary. Happens to tons of us randomly. It’ll be gone soon
