can you use the restore official lego firmware thing to change a lego spike from the lego spike app to the robot inventor app?

i want to change my spike prime hub to the robot inventor app but it seems to only connect to the spike app i tried to use the robot invenor app but it just didnt see it so could i use the firmware restore thing to change the firmware to the robot inventor app?

Not currently. It checks the USB product ID, so the hub won't show up in the dialog where you connect to the hub. If you really want to, you could use pybricksdev dfu restore with one of the firmwares from https://github.com/gpdaniels/spike-prime/tree/master/firmware.
