PDK Dev Call Updates - November 24th, 2025

Armin

• Reviewed new PRs, cherry-picked useful changes from closed ones (Sort session events by auto-incrementing id #1202), and revived several older PRs.
• Preparing to migrate simulation code into its own Payjoin repository with a fresh commit history.
• Defined different user behaviors and scoring mechanisms for simulation actions.
• Actions represent discrete wallet or protocol events; simulations produce possible outcomes, which are scored by cost. Each agent then selects the action that minimizes its expected cost. Need to finish this before migrating the code to a new repo.
• Need to plan for PISA (= CISA + Payjoin) trip.

Ben

• Worked with Armin to separate BIP21 logic from Liana-specific address handling.
• Spacebear: Identified Eduard from Liana. A "beast". Will post more regular updates in the liana channel
• Continued progress on the fuzzing POC [WIP] Create POC for fuzzing payjoin #1153 .
• Updated Nix flake to the latest stable release Use nixos stable for nix flake #1194 .
• Aiming for more integration progress with Liana this week.

Chavic

• Converted all UniFFI bindings to FFI primitives (Move the Default Payjoin FFI API to primitives #1191).
• Added a feature gate to conditionally include the Bitcoin FFI module.
• Integration tests still require additional work before passing fully.

Dan

• Attended an offsite to review the past year and define new strategic goals; reports strong confidence in the team transition.
• Brandon and Dan set up website RSS feeds; integration with the mailing list is next.
• Coordinating with external directory contributors to decentralize the directory.
• Scheduled a meeting with the Liana team regarding internal treasury operations.
• Preparing and submitting new grants ~ Dec

Spacebear

• Discussed Yuval’s proposal for recurring mob programming sessions to reduce silos and improve cross-team context.

  • Format: once per week, a designated leader presents or pairs live on a code topic.
  • Need to define a clear end time and structure.

• Built JS bindings for Bull Bitcoin Exchange using the UniFFI bindgen plugin.

• Resolved test utility dependencies by generating test utils only for native targets.

• Dan: consider exploring serialization of runtime values from Rust tests for FFI reuse instead of static mocks.

• Bram from Bull Bitcoin reached out; they’re working on similar bindings for bdk-ffi.

• Building and publishing package artifacts.

• Goal: publish Payjoin packages for both Dart and Js.

Zealsham

• Merged PR fixing resume behavior for expired Payjoin sessions
• Nearly completed fallback transaction handling improvements WIP:Demonstrate failure handling with fallback TX broadcast #1164
• Planning to rebase several older PRs for compatibility with current master.
