A few hours ago, I successfully debugged it and was able to set the WiFi name, so I can now connect to my phone hotspot. I re burned the CLR, but it didn't work. I also powered off and restarted the device. Very depressed.

add --masserase to the nanoff command when flashing the firmware.

nanoff --target ESP32_ETHERNET_KIT_1.2 --serialport %1 --deploy --image "e:\Project\gw.bin" --address 0x1E0000

BTW, the latest nanoff has removed the esptool.exe from the package and all done through managed C# code

Sure, there isn't. It is the official version 1.17.0.138

Did you try the WifiAP example before then switch to Wifi Scan. Also try with a good quality USB cable

I have a rough idea of the problem. My device is N16R8, but it works with 4MB partition and not with 16MB partition. It's the same application. The problem should lie in the nvs partition of the CLR.
