Description
Hi all,
we figured out, that biomass and biogas powerplants are (almost )not used in 2016, although from the input data potentially around 80 TWh could be produced:
Some explanations could be:
- Most expensive power plants, so they are used last. The grid at that point probably is not capable to transport the energy to where it is needed. This could also be a reason why we have slack?
- Other power plants like light oil are to0 cheap and replace them?
Question: Any ideas? How much of the grid capacity is used in your frameworks over time?
