OperettaReader importing transmitted light channels ("Brightfield" and "Digital Phase Contrast") in colored mode in magenta

Hello everyone,

since some time, the OperettaReader is importing transmitted light channels ("Brightfield" and "Digital Phase Contrast") in colored mode in magenta. This behaviour wasn't always like this, but changed during some version update something like 2 years ago (just estimated). This is especially annoying for OMERO imports -- after every data import I have to change color settings to grays because everything is shown in magenta.

Is there any possibility to change this behaviour back, so that these channels are by default assigned to gray colors?

Thanks @abhamacher. I would suspect this was introduced with #3686, which will color channels as magenta if an emission wavelength is found and is less than 450nm.

Would you be able to upload a dataset that exhibits this problem to https://zenodo.org/communities/bio-formats? If sharing image data isn't possible, then just the Index.idx.xml (or Index.xml) file would be fine.

Oh, wow, that would have been quite a while ago. As suggested I uploaded a minimal test dataset at zenodo, which is in status review now. Thanks for looking into this issue!
