I'm not able to recreate this.

I've tried looking into Dockerizing Avis, but, unfortunately, this is the kind of software that is not really amenable to containerization, since there are many running processes. It has proven more difficult than originally anticipated.

You need to make sure that you are using the instrumented version of ArduPilot, otherwise Avis won't be able to communicate with ArduPilot, and you'll see the timeout message that you see here.

After my vacation, I'll resume efforts to Dockerize Avis.
