Code window unexpected horizontal scrolling

**Describe the bug**
When pasting, indenting, or otherwise working with code lines longer than the width of the code editor; the text browser scrolls to the right unexpectedly.

**To Reproduce**
Paste a super long line of text into the code editor

**Expected behavior**
Global scroll position is maintained
