I'm not smart enough it seems.

I'm looking for a way to read the original post body after wrap-params has done its work, but cannot find a way. Sadly, paypal ipn requires to return the posted arguments in exactly the original order...

It somehow sound as if groundhog could help me here, but I just can't figure out how to get at the copied request...

If you put the groundhog middleware in the handler chain so it sees the request after wrap-params, it will record the params as wrap-params defines them. The default storage of the requests (unless you make your own request storage function) is an atom wrapping a vector - noisesmith.groundhog/requests; you can dereference the atom to get the requests by numeric index (in order they were received).
