how to avoid setting assignee ?

our jira has default assignees setup and it seems gh-jira forces assignee to be the one opening the bug.

is there a way to have it just default to what jira wants for assignee ?

Let me know so I can write a fix asap.

gh jira --new set assignee to current user (wrong)
gh jira --assign does not seem to be able to set to unassigned. maybe add an --unassign
