For those using the git-backed workflow for Posit connect products, the manifest file can get out of date. A github action could be used to ensure it remains up to date

A github action that regenerates the manifest file and opens a pull request.
Describe alternatives you have considered
It's possible that this could introduce errors, if the local version software versions are different?
