can I type emoji?

I added a chord to my dictionary, to map 😂 to " hraf*", but it doesn't work. Am doing something wrong or are emojis just not possible?

Emojis should work. Chords should be capitalised and with no spaces, so " hraf*" should be "HRA*F".
