Visual quick overview of running activities + quick controls

The problem
I'm always frustrated when I start to track a task but then forget to stop it. In such cases I have to edit the end time (which I may not exactly remember any more or it may be even not possible if notice it after a day or so)

Solution I'd like
I'm lets say "trained" by different application like messengers, email apps, calendar apps and so on to check regularly notification list on the lock screen or the notification area. If the Time Tracker will make itself present and visible among those notification, it will help me to remember about running activities and close then properly and on time. For example:

• an icon per running tracker or just a global one for all tracked activities in the top notification bar (i.e. where wifi, battery icons live)

• an entry in the list of notifications potentially with a button to stop activity

• an entry in the list of notifications on the lock screen
