.log mode (feature request)

Just a feature request, hehehehe ; ), it would be nice to have a .log mode, meaning, I could make a

heading.log

27.11.2015 22:43:15 and every line after that gets an automatic timestamp
27.11.2015 22:44:29 in front of it
27.11.2015 22:44:43 maybe with better formatting for the time

I would love that, not sure if it would be doable by plugins or sth ..., how much work it would be.
I hope I'm not the only one ...
