ender 3 s1 motherboard

So to make this short i made a dum choice and somehow shorted my motherboard. it wont boot anymore so im looking at a new one but all i see are upgraded motherboard for it but i dont want to buy it if its not gonna work with this firmware. so if anyone can tell me if i can would help and i will leave a link to the one i found

Make sure you get a STM32F103RET6 and not the F4 version.

okay bast on this im guessing your talking about the chip. may i ask what has STM32F103RET6. i am new to this so im still trying to learn. any article of this would also help. thanks for your help

You passed a link to an Ender 3 S1 board, there are two types, one with the STM32F103RET6 and another with the STM32F401RCT6. but the last one, also called F4, has less memory, so many features should be removed to load a Marlin firmware.

Okay but sadly the bord that current bord in it is a f4 and I believe the one I ordered is a f4 and when I try looking for the f1 all I get it BIGTECHTREE (I believe that's what there called) and I havnt looked at the used market yet. But as of rn I csnt fine them new so would u recommend putting the new f4 in and see if I can fine a used f1 and change them down the line??
