While the unit is final, the display unit can be changed, so you can override it (and such variables are compatible). The reason is that in general "Pa" isn't that user-friendly for most applications, so people use "bar", "kPa", "MPa", "mbar", "atm" (for standard atmospheric pressure), etc. It may also differ between AbsolutePressure and PressureDifference, and I note that other quantities with unit "Pa" don't all set the displayUnit. |
