Repositories section problem and broken search

1- I can't scroll down the repository section if there's mirror options (it flickers), this happens with the TV remote but doesn't happen when I use a Bluetooth remote app with the mouse pad option turned on (but starts to flicker again if I try to choose another mirror).
2- Before updating the app to 4.2.3 (still the same with the latest version), the app list was just fine, now if I try to search something like Aurora Store or Flicky for example, the search results are empty, there's like 47 apps in total right now. Because of this I can't update anything properly, the only app that it recognizes as installed is the CloudStream.

I fixed the app list by clearing the cache but the repository section still flickers and I can't get out of the search bar and clear the text.

Huh, maybe try clearing data (have this when jumping between updates mid-sync), but after providing logs (if possible), or a pic of the debug UI if possible (there is a option in settings for it)

Also which version did you upgrade from, and do provide some info about your device (like it's android version)

This is intended, and should probably add a setting to disable it

I upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.2.3 (F-Droid/IzzyOnDroid) then 4.3.1 via Github. The only annoying thing now is the repository section (in the settings page of the app) where it flickers. (I'm saying this because you mentioned adding an option disable the search bar text remaining, though it would be nice if you fixed where the user can't get out of the search bar.) All apps from the repositories show just fine after clearing the cache from the in-app settings.

The TV has Android 11 installed, it's a Toshiba TV (can't remember the exact model, I don't think that matters anyway).

Did clearing data not work for the app? Jumping 2 semi-major versions would cause it to break, I've had it break in a similar way, and the above suggestions work (if you have repositories or settings you'd like to keep, try exporting the settings and importing them on a newer version, but can't guarentee that after it is already broken)

Maybe the kmp-settings module has an error, but can't seem to tell, as it occurs for non setting changes too

Clearing the "cache" only worked for fixing the app list/count, the settings section flickers and doesn't let scrolling when there's a dropdown option.

This was present way before 4.3.1, I've used to update Flicky regularly until now because I don't use the TV that much, I just didn't have the time to report this bug.

I wasn't talking about clearing the cache from the in-app settings, meant clearing the "data" in system settings. It could be an issue that persisted from the older versions. If that too doesn't work, you could try reinstalling ig (logs might not help here)

I also reinstalled the app now, still the same, it has no relation with "upgrading between versions". Everything else besides not being able to get out of the search bar and dropdown options works just fine. I didn't want to rely on AI but here goes nothing.

Huh, it actually works well on my TV, so not sure what the root cause is, focus handling is fine, tested it on the AStudio TV emulator too

Will probably mark this as "help wanted" for now
