High battery usage

I was using AccuBattery, and I was going to switch over to this one. My normal battery usage is around 600 mA. When I use batstats, it's double. Is there anything you can do about this?

Most battery managers will have to drain your battery, and if they happen to be draining less, they just aren't scanning often or in the bg. So am not sure if the usage can be reduced without turning down the scan-interval
