Switching branches: `command not found` error

Latest VS Code Insiders, GHPRI and Copilot Chat pre-release, Windows 11 OS.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. I have https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-pull-request-github cloned and open in VS Code Insiders
2. I had checked out Add Cancel Review button to review submission interface vscode-pull-request-github#7317 in an instance of VS Code Insiders last Friday, and I still have this instance of VS Code open (and I've since updated the editor and pre-release extensions)
3. I wanted to change branches from the status bar
4. ❓ When I click on the branch, I get error command '__vsc5d94c5aa-82b5-4fad-bce3-0f07b7262448' not found
5. I tried Developer: Reload Window and this seems to have fixed it, so maybe this is a fleeting issue and I was in a weird state after some updates, but I figured I'd still file

Do you still have the window opened in which you reproduced the issue? What commit is the VS Code version? Timeline would be important since on July 17th we have pushed a change to fix this issue, #256479, and it would be crucial to understand whether you already had this change or not.

I unfortunately don't still have the same window open, but my understanding is yes I would've had any changes from July 17th. I encountered this issue July 22 ~3pm PST, and I was using the latest available version of VS Code Insiders and pre-release extensions at that time.
