Javascript Web App Sample fails with auth errors

I cloned the repo, ran NPM, created an app ID as described, and ran the app. Login completes successfully. However, when I click the "Call DevOps Rest API" button, nothing happens except an error in my chrome Windows that says:

ServerError: invalid_client: AADSTS650057: Invalid resource. The client has requested access to a resource which is not listed in the requested permissions in the client's application registration. Client app ID: [redacted]. Resource value from request: 499b84ac-1321-427f-aa17-267ca6975798. Resource app ID: 499b84ac-1321-427f-aa17-267ca6975798. Is there a missing documentation step where I'm supposed to grant my app permissions to access resource 499b84ac-1321-427f-aa17-267ca6975798? How would I do that?

I'm having the same issue, did you ever get this resolved? My only guess is that my ADO Organization is not linked to the AzureAD.
