Picking this up for the blog post — the SINT Protocol covers almost exactly this topic from an enforcement angle. Sharing material that could be useful for the article.

The identity problem SINT solves:

Each agent gets an Ed25519 keypair at birth. The public key is the agent's identity (did:key URI). Every action is gated by a capability token signed by the issuing authority: {subject: agent_pubkey, resource: "mcp://filesystem/*", actions: ["call"], tier: T1, exp: ...}. The token proves both who the agent is and what it's authorized to do in one verifiable blob.

Why DIDs matter for delegation:

When Agent A delegates to Agent B, it issues a new token where subject = B.publicKey, with scope that is a strict subset of A's own token (attenuation invariant: scope can only narrow, never expand). The delegation chain is traversable — you can verify the full chain of authorization from the root operator down to any leaf agent. Max depth is 3 to prevent deep delegation trees that obscure accountability.

Revoking Agent A's token cascade-revokes B and C via the delegation DAG — zero-trust by default.

The zero-trust mesh property:

Every inter-agent call is validated at the receiving gateway — there's no "trusted internal network" assumption. Agent C cannot present Agent A's token; it can only present its own token, which is verifiable against A's. This is the key property that prevents the "room full of masked strangers" problem you describe: every agent's claims are cryptographically bound to a verifiable chain of custody.

Good thread — on-chain agent identity intersects with what we're building across several projects right now.

Current state of the convergence:

5+ independent systems have arrived at Ed25519 + DID as the identity primitive:

• SINT Protocol — did:key derived from Ed25519 capability token keys (keyToDid())
• Agent Passport System — did:key from toDIDKey(), same derivation
• AgentNexus — did:agentnexus, self-certifying, Ed25519-based, relay resolution at relay.agentnexus.top
• MolTrust — did:moltrust, trust score endpoints at api.moltrust.ch
• WTRMRK — on-chain UIDs on Base L2, persistent across deployments

Cross-verification between SINT and APS: 9/9 tests pass with zero code changes on either side — same key bytes, same signature verification, same DID derivation. This is the strongest interop signal possible.

Where SINT extends this for governance: The identity (DID) is just L1. SINT binds it to:

• L3: Capability tokens (what this identity is allowed to do — scoped to resource + action + constraints)
• L4: Physical constraints (velocity, force, geofence limits inside the token, cryptographically bound)
• L5: Evidence ledger (every decision hash-chained, tamper-evident)

The governance toolkit's policy engine could consume SINT capability tokens as a trust signal — the token proves not just who the agent is, but what it's been authorized to do and under what physical constraints.

@64R3N — Your WTRMRK UIDs add the temporal dimension (history survives redeployment) that the current DID-based systems lack. The governance vocabulary project at aeoess/agent-governance-vocabulary is mapping these primitives into canonical terms. Worth contributing a WTRMRK crosswalk.

The discovery worth documenting: APS (aeoess), SINT Protocol, MolTrust, Tenuo, and ERC-8004 all independently arrived at Ed25519 + DID + scoped delegation + audit trails without coordinating. When APS ran SINT's cross-verification test suite, 9/9 tests passed with zero code changes on either side. Two independent implementations, first contact, compatible on arrival.

The AGT blog audience would get:

• Why Ed25519 + DID is emerging as the de-facto cryptographic foundation (not by committee — by convergent implementation pressure)
• How monotonic narrowing (authority can only decrease through delegation chains) prevents the ambient authority accumulation problem
• The audit trail layer: hash-chained receipts vs log-based records — why the difference matters for enterprise compliance

@pshkv, co-signing the convergence post and the proposed angle. The "5 independent agent projects built the same primitives" framing is the right hook for an AGT audience, and it lands stronger when the implementations actually compose.

Adding the APS side concretely so the post can lean on numbers:

APS today: agent-passport-system@1.43.0 on npm (also agent-passport-system-mcp@2.24.0 for MCP wiring, agent-passport-system==0.12.0 on PyPI). 2,848 tests across 739 suites. Apache 2.0. The cryptographic core is did:key from Ed25519 via toDIDKey(). Same shape and same byte layout as SINT, which is why our 9/9 cross-verification passed on first contact with no code changes on either side.

Where APS sits in the layered story you're sketching:

• L1 identity: did:key + did:web + did:aps (and did:moltrust, did:agentnexus resolved through the resolver fabric)
• L2 delegation: monotonic narrowing enforced structurally. A child delegation that claims wider scope than its parent fails signature verification at the gateway, not at audit time
• L3 receipts: three-signature chain per action (intent, decision, execution), each independently verifiable offline against the issuer's published JWKS
• L4 governance overlays: Values Floor (constitutional constraints), Charter (institutional governance), HumanEscalationFlag (per-action-class owner confirmation)
• L5 enforcement: ProxyGateway as fail-closed boundary, structured denial reasons, cascade revocation across the delegation DAG

Happy to bring four things to a joint write-up:

1. A concrete delegation chain example showing AGT policy decision → APS scoped delegation minted → SINT capability token narrowed inside that scope → action executes under ProxyGateway enforcement with the AGT policy decision embedded in the receipt as PolicyAttestation. Three frameworks, one chain, no shared authorization server.

2. Cross-verification fixtures. The APS↔SINT 9/9 result is reproducible. The test vectors and verifier are public. Same approach can extend to AgentNexus and AGT's agent-mesh if the maintainers want the empirical signal.

3. The convergence catalog. aeoess/agent-governance-vocabulary is the canonical naming layer for exactly this. 9 crosswalks merged in 6 days from independent issuers (InsumerAPI, SINT, JEP, AgentNexus, SATP, Nobulex, Logpose, asqav, plus the in-flight RNWY/SAR PRs). governance_attestation was canonicalized this week as the first signal type to clear the 2+ implementation threshold across three independent systems. Real-time evidence the convergence is happening, not just claimed.

4. The "what each layer contributes" diagram. AGT's 10/10 OWASP coverage + SINT's policy bundles + APS's enforcement substrate + WTRMRK's persistent on-chain anchor + AgentNexus's resolver fabric stack into something none of us ship alone.
