Updated dataset?

Bing imagery continually get's better, is there plans for this dataset to be updated from more recent and more high resolution imagery? At the moment at least in Sydney the footprints suffer from not so great imagery they were derived from, but there is now better imagery.

I had a look at using these to map buildings in North Lakes QLD, but the currently available building outlines are in such bad shape that it takes significantly longer to fix them than to just do the buildings by hand.

Which is a shame given that the new Bing imagery available now is of very good quality and should allow for much better processing.

+1 for an update in Tasmania as well. There is now some very clear imagery in many of the suburban areas around Hobart, Clarence, Glenorchy, Brighton plus Launceston and the Tamar Valley

14 months on from the original request and there is new imagery coming on board but no further updates of this dataset. Any response would be appreciated Microsoft. The community would love to use the data but at the moment its less than ideal. Is there a roadmap for updates that we have missed somewhere?
