User can't leave input handler without giving command

Describe the bug
Say user want to give any command and then in between the process his/mind changes, he can't leave input handler without changing the setting.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Send 2 (to change setting)
2. then go to any setting menu.
3. Now you just try to leave that menu lock without giving any input
4. You can't have to give any command.

Expected behavior
If user don't type any thing for some time say 5 seconds it should time out the input manager and continue its work.

Additional context
A better option is to move to RTOS. or re write complete code for it.

If user enter ! he get

on terminal, and it end up to input loop, but it can be more optimize.
