How can I delete or reactivate a user?

I'm testing SSO on my homeserver, but I found the SSO created a new user rather than associated with my account, so I want to delete that user, how can I do that?
And is there some way for users to bind SSO themselves without resorting to this rather uncertain method? how about matching with email rather than username?
