Layer drawer scrolls/jumps around when editing properties

When I try to edit any property in a regular field, or expression code field, even in JSON editor, changing any value will make the drawer scroll randomly, and brings the field out of view.
It's extremely annoying and makes it pretty much unusable.

1. Load any style, says AWS Standard
2. Edit any layer, let's say "airport_label"
3. Edit any property, let's say 'Max angle'.
4. The drawer has scrolled randomly to the top or bottom, the focus is still in the box, but I can't see the field anymore.
5. Scroll back, stay focused, edit again. Same bug.

This started just last week or so. Didn't have this problem in September. I don't think the version (3.0.0) has changed since.

I can record a video if necessary.

Forgot to open the console, here's a screenshot.

No proper field input for text-variable-anchor-offset type: variableAnchorOffsetCollection
triggers everytime I edit a value. First 9 are from during the video.

Console warnings are due to missing implementation of the text-variable-anchor-offset, and it's expected (although obviously not great), but I don't think the jumps are related.
I'm also not sure when they started...
I guess it is related to some react component refresh that handles the scroll wrong, but it's only a guess, feel free to look into it.

My best guess would about a week ago or so.
I'm no developper, but let me know if you need more info or repro steps.

I'll see if I can spot a change that might have contributed to this bug lately.

I have created the following solution to this issue:

But I don't like this solution at is seems fragile.
Any help on this would be welcomed.
