Export copy documentation

From what I can tell, there's almost no documentation on the new export copy operation from issue #303 . I have tried a few things but I'm unclear how this is actually meant to be used. It seems like it has the potential to be super useful, but I think I must just be missing something? The service documentation doesn't really seem to explain how to actually use the system.

No, this is certainly true. My idea is to write documentation on the web site before releasing this on the extension platform.

But we still have to go a bit before that happens. I'll want to add support for custom rigs too before a release will be made.

Maybe you could read through it and point out the parts which are still unclear?
