Add-on installing issue - Not showing up at all.

I followed the step in installing it locally and unzipped. It appeared in the blender/scripts and then for some reason would not show up in the add-on tabs. I tried it for both Blender 4.3 and 4.0
I don't have any other information. A solution would be appreciated.

This is an ancient repo which contains MPFB1. The MPFB2 git repo is available here: https://github.com/makehumancommunity/mpfb2 (although I'd recommend downloading a nightly build from https://static.makehumancommunity.org/mpfb/downloads.html to start with)

MPFB1 is no longer maintained. I don't remember exactly, but chances are the highest supported blender version for MPFB1 is 2.8 or something. There is no way it will work in blender 4.x.

But obviously something needs to be done about the mpfb1 repo to avoid this kinf of confusion. It's hard to understand the above only from the readme and docs here.

MPFB2 worked.
I'll leave the issue open for this.
