Aggregating 2 single TPU adapters

Would it be possible to aggregate two single TPU A+E key coral TPUs with the dual dual TPU adapter? 
And along those lines, can the dual dual TPU adapter be used with a single adapter only?

I assume yes but  wanted to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something about the architecture.
