Mobile app doesn't work offline

I am using the Pinepods Android mobile app, and cannot use the app offline. I am self hosted. I have no problems when online connected to my network. When offline (no network), I get an error message: Home Unavailable. Failed to load home content. Error loading home contenet: ClientExcpetion with SocketException. Software caused connection abort...and my LAN IP address.

It appears I need to have a network connection from the mobile app to my server, and "offline" is only for downloaded content.

If so, I would like the mobile app to be completely available offline. I travel in areas without network/internet connectivity.

Hi there, correct you do need to be online to access most features because of the nature of the application. Have to tried downloading episodes locally and clicking the downloads tab? That should work just fine for you. Local episodes will show up on the downloads page if they're downloaded locally when offline.
