I'm pretty sure it does this already, but it's been awhile since I've revisted that code. So I can take a look an make some adjustments. What I can say is that I needed to take a further look at that code anyway to implement #439 so I was planning to take a look at that for the next release anyway. I'll be sure to validate the workflow of episode playing as you've mentioned above while I'm at it! |

I'm not sure if PinePods already does this but if I download all the episodes for a podcast, I would expect to play those files that I've downloaded to the server rather than playing from the remote source when I hit the play button for an episode. If this should be the case, I am not seeing it on 0.7.7 running on unRAID.
I encountered this issue because I run AdGuard on my network with a fairly strict set of blocklists however I allow certain clients to unblock specific domains. In this case I needed to unblock a source domain for a podcast I added recently but only for the IP address of the PinePods container so I could download all the episodes and am still blocked on other clients that play that episode from the web UI.
