When I try the example code "client.venues('40a55d80f964a52020f31ee3')", an error occures:

Thanks for the report!
I haven't been keeping up with developments on foursquare's API.

I'm not actively working on this repo, but I'd be happy to review a PR with the necessary changes to make the library V3 compatible.
