TeamTalk VoiceOver Client – Introduction & Collaboration

Hi,

I'm Florian, developer of the TeamTalk VoiceOver Client — an open-source Python (PySide6/wxPython) client for TeamTalk 5 conferencing, built for blind and VI users: https://github.com/fla-rion/TeamTalk-VO-Client

SRAL's support matrix (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) maps almost exactly to our target platforms, which is why it caught my eye. We currently use platform-specific solutions and are actively exploring whether SRAL could replace our custom screen reader output code.

I'd love to discuss integration approaches and whether a Python binding would be feasible or already exists. Thanks for building such a thorough cross-platform abstraction!

Hi @fla-rion - I'm not the code-owner here, but a stable release was just made that includes the build artifacts needed for different desktop platforms. There is (as you've probably already seen) a file with Python bindings as well, however that isn't currently included in the release artifacts. If that would be useful, let me know, and which pieces would be most helpful to include there!
