Badge/Tag id configuration

Hi all,

I configured the ocpp home assistant integration without a problem, but I was wondering how/where tag ids are validated?
For the moment, I can still start charging with my badge as before. But it now shows up as "unknown user" in the charger app. How does this OCPP implementation validate the badge/tag id or can anyone with a badge/tag use my charger now?

I should have browsed the code sooner. I found tag ids configured here:

It looks self-explaining, but is this documented anywhere?
