File Structured Devices

• dsk - / (should be /proc/self/root)
• sys - dsk:sys; (sys: ignored; fname)
• com - dsk:common; (com: ignored; fname)

Character Oriented Devices

• tnm - Teletype or display and keyboard
• tty - Job controlling teletype

Miscellaneous Devices

• err - Query errors
• nul - Zeros
• usr - Jobs (uname.jname)
