1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

Context
Currently, our team is facing challenges in systematically testing and validating both Workflow and Chatflow in Dify.

Problems

• Lack of official guidance on how to structure test datasets for Workflow and Chatflow.
• No built‑in versioning or recommended practices for managing changes across flows.
• Validation methods and results are inconsistent and difficult to reuse.
• For each app, we currently maintain a separate Excel‑based validation dataset and a dedicated validation script (some of which are partially integrated into our existing system). This approach is fragmented from Dify itself, incurs high development costs, and results in poor maintainability.

Why this matters

• Teams need reliable and repeatable ways to ensure correctness before deploying flows to production.
• Without standardized practices, it is difficult to guarantee quality, compliance, and long‑term maintainability.
• A shared component in Dify would improve collaboration and reduce operational risk.

What we are requesting

• Official best practices or documentation on testing and validation strategies for Workflow and Chatflow.
• Recommendations for dataset management in Dify (e.g., test input/output sets, golden datasets).
• Guidance on version control and regression testing for flows.
• Suggested tools, built‑in features, or patterns for capturing and comparing validation results.
