Trail Sense 2025 end of year poll

I've listed out all of the tools in Trail Sense as comments below. Upvote the tools that you find most useful (you can upvote multiple). Feel free to leave comments under each tool (how you use it, how you think it could be better, something it does that you don't like, etc).

GitHub limits the number of posts you see at once - click the "Load more..." button on the hidden items section to see the rest of the tools. I'll experiment with other polling platforms in the future, but I like the ability to vote and leave comments.

Please don't add new top level comments (at the same level as the tool names) - if they are added, I will remove them (moving them to a new issue/discussion).

This will help me prioritize features in 2026.

For any suggestions made here, I'll create issues for them at the end of the year as needed.

In my opinion, the current converters are good enough. One potential improvement, would be the ability to add custom converters. It would be nice to be able to assign them to a unit type (length, distance, etc), but not require a unit type, and have a "Custom" tab that lists all the custom converters you've added.

I'm leaning toward making sure that Trail Sense has all converters built-in that are useful for its use cases. If you have ideas for converters that are missing, I will look into adding them.

I will consider this, I've had this request a few times. For now, the Notes tool allows generation of QR codes to share information (not structured data like the options you get with online generators though).
