Updates for LFS 12.4

Hey krglaws, I like MyLFS. I stumbled across your giant bash script while endeavoring to do another LFS build. I didn't setout to do this with MyLFS, but here we are. I'm working through your files and making updates for LFS 12.4 (the latest stable version). I'm no bash whiz (or linux whiz, or really anything else for that matter...), just a hobbyist. But, if you want, you can take a look once I'm done and maybe I can send a PR to help. Nice work!
