World Monitor 2.5.23 has contant 70-120% CPU. Any way to decrase it tremendously ?

Thanks for the process samples. Looking at the stack traces, the CPU load is coming from the graphics and media rendering pipeline rather than a functional bug. The app uses WebGL heavily (MapLibre globe, Deck.gl overlay layers) which pushes the GPU hard, and on systems with integrated graphics the CPU picks up the slack.

Can you confirm your GPU? Based on the 2018 13-inch MBP specs you listed, that would be Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 with no discrete GPU. If so, the integrated graphics is likely the bottleneck since the rendering workload is being shared with the CPU.

A few things that might help in the meantime:

• Switching from 3D globe view to the 2D map (significantly reduces WebGL load)
• Disabling map layers you're not actively using (each layer adds render overhead)
• Closing panels with live updating content when not needed

This is more of a performance optimization issue than a bug. The app is rendering correctly, it's just doing a lot of GPU work on hardware that shares GPU and CPU resources.

Weird. I just made a web app of https://www.worldmonitor.app through the Unite Pro app (https://www.bzgapps.com/unite), and the CPU is much better.
