"Dockerfile - Advanced environments" includes the warning

If a Dockerfile is present, all other configuration files will be ignored.

This warning, at first, contradicts "2. Inherit from a community maintained image and add a few extras" and "Extend a community image with your own packages". After read careful, extend a community image is the same as using a custom Dockerfile.
