As a system builder I need the ability to seed data so that I can deploy data fixtures easily.

The ability to create seed data and have it be automatically deployed would be helpful for operations as well as integration testing in the playground.

Any mechanism should be idempotent so that static seed data doesn't overwrite (possibly modified) newer data that exists in the data store.
