How Jira integration works?

Sorry if I got this wrong. I set a Jira site on https://amartini.atlassian.net/ , add user and token, connection is tested successfully. But the tasks I create don't show up on Jira, and vice versa. What am I doing wrong? How should it work regarding project names? Have to be the same name? If I create a project on SP, it should create it in Jira?

Hey there! The app is not ment to be a full fledged Jira client. It has a "Jira integration" which should work like this:

1. As sprint planning etc. is usually a team exercise it is intended to be done in the regular Jira Web Interface. Creation of issues/projects or other things from Super Productivity is not possible currently and might never be.
2. Super Productivity allows you to import issues (you want to check the settings) from Jira to your personal to do list
3. The only changes Super Productivity makes to the Jira Issues itself (optionally) is setting the ticket status (done, in progress, etc.), assigning a user to a ticket and updating the time tracking stuff. If you need to change something else, you should do it through the web interface.

Hello @johannesjo, what you describe is not a problem for me and I think it's perfect.

But in my case when I configure the integration with Jira and do the test, the application tells me that everything is perfect, but never loads the tasks assigned to my user from Jira, I will be configuring something wrong or do you have a video showing the integration with Jira with configuration included please?

@ingeJulianLasso I had this problem, but changed the "JQL used for adding tasks" to only "assignee = currentUser()" and my tasks started showing.

@amartini Changing that "JQL used for adding tasks status" worked for me, too - thanks!
